The tactical view lets you organise players by position and represent both a primary and secondary position. You can understand the sporting composition of the squad without reducing it to a generic table.
If you already work in Excel, you do not need to enter every player again. Import your complete roster from Excel when you start, then edit it inside the application. The import uses the downloadable template prepared for that process; it is not presented as support for any arbitrary Excel file.
